Mondale Undergoes Heart Surgery At Mayo

Former Vice President Walter Mondale is recovering from heart surgery in Rochester. His family says Mondale underwent the procedure at the Mayo Clinic on Wednesday. A statement says he is doing fine and is expected to make a full recovery. Mondale, who is 86 years old, recently lost his wife of 58 years. The funeral for Joan Mondale was held just last Saturday in Minneapolis.
