Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Stock up on water if you’re hosting a graduation party or any other event outdoors this weekend. And be sure the AC is ready to work overtime if you plan to stay inside.

Temperatures are expected to soar into the mid 90’s and unlike last weekend, it will be humid. Record high temperatures could be set in some areas. Rochester’s record high for Saturday’s date is 96. The record for Sunday’s date is 92. The very warm weather will linger into next week with highs around 90 Monday and Tuesday.

This will be a repeat of last year. The high temp on June 10th last year was 93, the warmest of 2016. The high on the 11th was 89 degrees.

There will also be a chance of scattered storms across the region through the weekend. By the way, it’s still spring. The summer season begins June 21st.
