A Possible Wham Reunion?

While the rumors may just be a “Careless Whisper”, there’s talk that the 80s pop band Wham! may be getting back together.

In a series of recent interviews, George Michael has hinted about the possibility of reuniting with his former Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgeley in the future.   The 51-year-old singer said that one his biggest mistakes was breaking up the band in 1986.  Michael went on to have a very successful solo career but maybe felt that there was some unfinished business with Wham!

Ridgeley, also 51, has basically stayed out of the spotlight since the band split up.  He’s married to former Bananarama singer Keren Woodward.  For more, here’s a link to Daily Mail story.

To paraphrase a line from their biggest hit, let’s hope they “don’t leave us hangin’ on like a yo-yo” and make a decision soon.  (And it would probably be a good idea to leave the pink shirts and short shorts at home).
