Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - There were slick spots reported on area roads Thursday morning due to Wednesday’s snow and overnight rain.

Rochester’s airport recorded 1.5 inches of snow Wednesday before it began raining.

Rain is expected through the day and most of the snow that has been around all month could be gone by Thursday evening as temperatures are expected to rise into the 40s. A mix of rain and snow is expected in SE Minnesota Friday.

A winter storm continues to affect northern and central Minnesota where some areas are reporting several inches of snow as of Thursday morning.
