St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has issued an air pollution health advisory that covers southern and central Minnesota.

The agency says the advisory will be in effect thru this evening because a combination of low clouds and fog forecast for early Thursday is expected to cause levels of fine-particulate air pollution to reach levels that are unhealthy for “sensitive groups.

That would that include people with pre-existing heart or respiratory conditions, the elderly, young children and anyone involved in activities requiring extended or heavy exertion.
