(UPDATED) Albert Lea Hit & Run Suspect, Victim ID’d
Albert Lea, MN (KROC-AM News - Albert Lea police have made an arrest for a deadly hit and run.
A spokesman says a 51-year-old man was taken into custody around 8:30 this morning at the Motor Inn in Albert Lea, where officers also found a pickup truck matching the description of the vehicle involved in the fatal incident.
Officials say Leslie Jones of Hartland is being held on a suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide in connection with the death of 66-year-old Jolene Klein of Albert Lea, who died after she was struck by a vehicle on Main Street in Albert Lea about 6:30 Wednesday evening.

Albert Lea, MN (KROC AM News) - There was a fatal hit and run in Albert Lea Wednesday.
The Albert Lea Police Department says the victim was dead when officers arrived at the scene around 6:30 p.m.
The site of the deadly incident was at the intersection of East Main St and Katherine St, near the public library.
Police are looking for a blue Ford pickup truck that may have damage to the front driver’s side.
