I've always had a passing interest in horse racing, especially the big races like the Kentucky Derby. When I was 11 years old, I remember watching Secretariat win the Triple Crown in 1973 on our family's black and white TV. That was the first time a horse had won the Triple Crown in 25 years, so it was kind of a big deal.

Now in 2015, my 11 year old son got to witness history as he saw American Pharoah capture the Triple Crown on our big screen HDTV. It ended a 37 year drought. It was cool to share that moment with him. He then asked the question "Who would win a race between Secretariat and American Pharoah?" I told him there's no way to know for sure, but then I found this video that did its best to answer that nearly impossible question.

Enjoy the side-by-side split screen race between two legendary champions.
