An ‘Arresting’ Marriage Proposal

This couple had a memorable first date two years ago. On their way back from a comedy club show, police in Michigan pulled the man over and gave him a ticket for an improper turn. On the same exact date two years later, the couple was pulled over again but this time it was for something else.

One of the officers took the male driver to the back of his truck and frisked him. He found something in the young man's pocket. The other officer then brought his female passenger to the back of the truck and asked her to explain the contraband they found on her companion. It turns out it was a small box...with an engagement ring inside!

This creative gentlemen had set the whole thing up with the Royal Oak police department and they were more than happy to participate in his elaborate proposal scheme. Fortunately she said "yes", otherwise I'm thinking the cops may have hauled her in for 'not being a good sport'.
