Thanksgiving is almost here and Christmas is right around the corner. One of the best ways to get into the ‘holiday spirit’ is to attend the annual “Festival Of Trees” event at the Mayo Civic Center’s Exhibit Hall.    This year marks the 30th year of this popular community event which is a fundraiser for Hiawatha Homes.  Proceeds help provide quality support services to people with disabilities at home and in their community.

See the breathtaking spectacle of close to a hundred beautifully decorated trees. Enjoy daily entertainment, visit the Gift Thyme Shoppe, visit with Santa and bid on wonderful Silent Auction times during this ‘Celebration of Giving’.

This year, “Festival Of Trees” takes place November 27th through 29th. Hours are Friday the 27th from 11am to 7pm, Saturday the 28th from 11am to 7pm and Sunday the 29th from 11am to 5pm.

Cost is $5 for adults, $4 for tour groups and seniors, $3 for children ages 2 to 12 and babes in arms are free.  There are also various activities taking place each day.   Find out more here.
