Ford is recalling nearly 1.5 million Ford Focus cars for issues with a valve in the engine that can cause the vehicle to stall without warning. According to USA TODAY, the recall affects 2012 through 2018 model-year Focus with 2-liter GDI and 2-liter GTDI engines.

If you drive a Ford Focus made between those years, you should take it into your dealer as soon as possible. In the meantime, Ford warns drivers to keep your fuel tanks at least half full until it is fixed.
