Pine Island, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is trying to find the owner of an SUV found in the middle of a road - burning.

A passing motorist spotted the vehicle around 1:15 PM Saturday in the 12,500 block of 44th Ave NW in rural northwest Olmsted County.

The vehicle - described as a 1990s Yukon model - was engulfed when fire crews arrived. There were no plates on the vehicle - and it was also missing a tire.

A spokesman says the SUV’s VIN could not be determined.
