Austin Man Pleads Guilty in Rochester Assault, Robbery Case
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - An Austin man pleaded guilty Thursday for his role in what police say was a drug-related assault and robbery last summer in Rochester.
Entering the plea to a felony simple robbery charge was 20 year old Kalin Jones. He will be sentenced next month. His brother Kameron pleaded guilty earlier and was placed on probation.
The incident happened last August at a residence in the 400 block of 9th Ave SE.
Police say a 24 year old man went there to buy some marijuana. He told police he was assaulted by four men and was choked until he blacked out. He says the attackers also stole $3500 from him.
