Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - A heads-up for Rochester motorists in the area of the Seneca Foods warehouse along 20th St SE.

On Monday, the city plans to close 20th St SE between 3rd Ave and the driveway to Meadow Park near the water tower. This closure is expected to last 2-3 weeks as the two railroad crossings near the Seneca warehouse are replaced. The city recommends motorists use 16th St as the detour.

The city has also updated its information on the project near the Olmsted County government center.  Work has now moved to the 3rd Ave/4th St intersection and this has led to the closure of one of the southbound lanes on 3rd Ave. The city expects the work at the intersection to be completed by Friday, May 26th.

Meanwhile, the work at the 16th Ave/West Center St intersection continues. The project has led to the closure of 16th Ave behind the Miracle Mile Shopping Center. Work was extended one week after it was determined an entire manhole had to be replaced.

The city now says the work should be done by Monday.
