Carly Rae Jepsen participated in a charity drive at a tea shop in Canada a week ago.   She called on her fans to help, maybe, but they didn't.  Well not in large numbers anyways.  She went to work at 'Davids Tea' in Toronto, Canada. Sadly, 20 people only showed up to see her serving tea for the cup of warmth campaign to help hunger relief charities. Perhaps this is ironic, or she is a big fan of tea in general, but she has a song about tea.

With only 20 people who turned up for the event, they got to enjoy and relish in lots of one on one time with the star, getting pictures and autorgraphs.  You can look at the photos and read more from the [Daily Mail]  by clicking here.

Carly will play Cinderella on Broadway in February.  She was in Toronto promoting a beauty product and talked to 'City News' there about being low-maintenance and even Martha Stewart.  She even spoke about the, at the time, soon to happen tea event at 'David's Tea'.  Watch the interview here.
