Chanhassen, MN (KROC-AM News) - Former Mayo High School Principal Timothy Dorway was arrested this morning at his suburban Twin Cities home by agents of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

The state law enforcement agency says Dorway brought to the Carver County Jail, where he is being held on suspicion of possessing child pornography. A statement from the BCA indicates his arrest followed the execution of search warrants at his home in Victoria and at the Chanhassen High School.

The 44-year-old Dorway served as principal at the Rochester high school for several years before he accepted the job of Chanhassen High School Principal in 2010.

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Carver County Sheriff’s Department participated in the investigation. Charges are pending and the BCA says the investigation is active and ongoing.
