Crash On Hwy 16 Injures Two In SE MN
A three-car crash on Highway 16 sent two people to the hospital with injuries Saturday night in La Cresent at the intersection with Kistler Dr. around 9:30 pm. The Minnesota State Patrol says 25-year-old Vicotria Grosz of Cresco, Iowa, was driving a Honda southbound of Highway 16 when a Kia, driven by 31-year-old Sara Rucker of Onalaska, Wis, crossed over the center line and struck the Honda, which injured Grosz and her passenger, 23-year-old Dylan Keen of Cottage Grove, Minnesota. The Kia continued on Highway 16 and struck a Subaru, driven by 25-year-old Ashely Oldenburg of La Cresent.
Grosz and Keen were the only two injured in the crash and were transported to Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. Their injuries were considered non-life threatening.
