Crazy Bird vs. Car Accident or National Metaphor??

Amazingly this bald eagle was OK after being struck by a car in Florida.

The Mr. and I came too close to TWO bald eagles that were sitting by the edge of the road this weekend.  It reminded me how big those birds are.  Can you imagine hitting one of these and you get our to check your car and find THIS?!
