Don’t Miss the 3rd Annual “Salute To The 4th” Block Party in Rochester!
This cool and unique event is coming up this Tuesday, July 4th in Rochester!
The FREE event, which is being put on by The Commission, along with a partnership with several sponsors and the city of Rochester, will once again be located on 7th street NE in front of Silver Lake Swimming Pool this year.
There will be plenty of fun things going on, including:
- Car & Motorcycle Show
- Skate & BMX Contest
- LIVE music from Second Story, KnuFunK , and Gavin Boss
- Food Truck Festival
- FREE Kids Camp host by Med City FC & Med City Freeze
When asked about how they're approaching this years festivities differently than in years past, here's what Founder of The Commission, Sunny Prabhakar had to say about their overall goal:
This year is all about delivering an incredible experience for the community. We've added food trucks to our food truck festival, the Med City FC is joining the Med City Freeze to host the free kids camp, and the X Games are sponsoring the Skateboard and BMX contest this year. The best part, is that all of this is FREE for the community to enjoy and we can all come together to celebrate Independence Day. Big thank you to the City of Rochester government and departments for providing the space, the fireworks and more as well. We are excited to provide multiple great reasons to stay in Rochester this 4th of July!
Come and enjoy Rochester’s 4th of July Celebration, and make sure to stay after the fireworks as DJ Gavin Boss hits the stage for the family friendly After Party!
I personally know many of these guys putting on this event, and I know it would mean the world to them to see each and every one of you there to help support the cause, and this amazing city at the same time. They're good people doing amazing things, with only the future of our community in the forefront of their minds.
