Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A fire broke out Monday at a house in southeast Rochester.

The Fire Department was contacted around 6:15 a.m.

The house is located at 625 12 Ave. SE, a few blocks north of Slatterly Park. The Fire Department says the three adult occupants escaped without injury. The fire started in the second floor area of the home and the cause is under investigation.

The preliminary damage estimate was put at $5,000.
