As a caregiver, it’s likely you’re missing out on a few resources that could improve your ability to care for not only your loved one, but yourself. The third annual Caregiver Connections Expo is a two day event designed for both family and professional caregivers at all levels.

A brand new dinner event will kick off the Caregiver Connections Expo on Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 5 p.m. The evening will feature nationally renowned author, Elaine Sanchez, who will not only entertain you, but provide an inspirational presentation including real-life caregiving stories and advice. Sanchez’s humor will keep you captivated as her presentation, “Finding Hope, Humor and Heart in Caregiving,” takes you on a journey through a numerous emotions associated with long-term caregiving.
Enjoy a delicious meal provided by Canadian Honker Catering and gain confidence as Sanchez provides validation and mental, physical, and emotional strength to face whatever challenges lay ahead. This evening event was added to allow caregivers who are busy during the day to also be involved. Please purchase your $25 dinner ticket in advance from  from Elder NetworkFamily Service Rochester, and The Salvation Army.
Attend the expo on Wednesday, Aug. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and you’ll be able to participate in your choice of 15 presentations, speak with 30 exhibitors, and network with other caregivers. A light breakfast and lunch are included with the ticket purchase.
