Additional Information

On April 25th starting at 6 pm and continuing throughout the evening, Winona State will be hosting a Relay For Life event to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Our event will be held in the McCown Gym at Winona State in Winona, MN.

Everyone is welcome to come and join us this night to help us raise money to find the cure for cancer and to finish the fight. The event will be formed around three major ceremonies that will be held throughout the night that will allow each person to CELEBRATE those who have survived their cancer diagnosis, REMEMBER those who have lost their battle to cancer, and FIGHT BACK to show that we will do whatever we need to do to end cancer.

These ceremonies followed by games and other activities will make up an all night event that you do not want to miss. You can register your teams at relayforlife.org/winonastate. For questions or concerns contact Jessica at jrueber12@winona.edu.

The Relay For Life movement features community and campus events that offer an inspiring opportunity to honor cancer survivors, promote how individuals can reduce their cancer risk, and raise money to help end cancer. Today, with the support of thousands of volunteers, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 400 lives a day. And we won't stop until we finish the fight against cancer!

This is an event to get the community and the students of Winona State University to team up together to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Last year we raised just under $60,000 for this great cause and this year we are going for $70,000. All ages are welcome to join us in the McCown gym at 6pm on April 25th for an all night event with games, food, and prices. It is a lot of fun! If you have questions please feel free to contact me, Jessica (Co-President of the event) at jrueber12@winona.edu
