Easton, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol responded to two fatal traffic crashes Tuesday morning, including one involving a classic car that was stolen in Nebraska.

A news release from the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department in Lincoln Nebraska says the 1968 Camaro RS was stolen from the Restore a Muscle Car business in Lincoln last Friday.

It was located shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday morning when the State Patrol responded to a rollover crash along a highway in Faribault County near the town of Easton. The driver was identified as 26-year-old Tanner Goodrich. Officials say he previously lived in Lincoln, but moved to the Mankato area several years ago.

Investigators are still working to determine if he was the person who stole the vintage Camaro.

The other fatal crash occurred in west central Minnesota around 12:30 a.m. The State Patrol says a 27-year-old Appleton man was killed when he failed to stop for a stop sign at a rural intersection in Swift County and collided with a semi-truck.
