Dover, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred last night near Dover.

Officials say two pickups collided at the intersection of county roads 9 and 10 around 7:30 p.m. Investigators believe the driver of one of the vehicles failed to stop at the intersection, which is controlled by four-way stop signs.

One of the drivers was ejected during the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital. There were 3 passengers in the pickup with the deceased driver and they were transported to the hospital by ambulance with less serious injuries.

The name of the person killed and the names of those injured in the crash have not been released.
