Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s office is expected to release details Tuesday morning about a fatal traffic accident that happened late Monday afternoon in rural Rochester.

It involved a motorcycle and pedestrian and happened around 6:30 p.m. on 30th St SE, about a quarter mile west of Marion Road.

Rochester police were also called to the scene but learned it was just outside the city limits. A spokesman says the driver of the motorcycle apparently did not see the pedestrian while coming over a hill.
