We ran a story about this not long ago. A company wanted to build on that land.
A California company is considering developing a downtown area hotel project on the site of the Rochester American Legion Post, near Central Park.
The project calls for a 12-story building that would include parking and hotel rooms.
Jeff Kiger has the first look at the new place.
It looks pretty slick...12 stories! And not far from downtown so, if everyday folk could afford to live there, that would kick butt.
