The Down By The Riverside Free Summer Concert Series continues tonight with a performance by Firefall...presented by Think Bank and Y105.

Grab your lawn chairs and come on down to Mayo Park behind the Mayo Civic Center. The music begins at 7pm with opening act Jason McKenzie. That will be followed by Firefall, the Colorado-based band that was founded in 1974. The band took their name from the Yosemite Firefall, which was a summer tradition of dumping a cascade of flaming embers off Glacier Point in California's Yosemite National Park.

Firefall had several hits in the late 70s and early 80s that charted on rock, pop, country and AC radio. Those hits included "You Are The Woman" (1976), "Just Remember I Love You" (1977), "Strange Way" (1978) and more.

And you can see Firefall perform at Mayo Park during this Sunday's free Down By The Riverside concert, brought to you by Think Bank and Y105!
