Looking for a little bit of fun during your workday this summer?  Games on the Grass is a new event in the Peace Plaza and I hear that there are prizes and hot dogs being handed out on Monday!

According to the Rochester Downtown Alliance website, here is what Games on the Grass is all about:

Games on the Grass will feature a branded game cart in the grassy area of the Peace Plaza, which will contain a myriad of lawn games and board game pieces. There will also be tables and chairs near the Peace Plaza fountain topped with a game board decal. All games will be available for the public to use free of charge in the months of May to October.

The kick-off for this fun, summer addition to the downtown is Monday, May 7th at 11:00 am at the Peace Plaza!  It is free for everyone and is a perfect place to spend your lunch hour.  Bring your sunglasses and play some minute-to-win-it types of games for prizes.  Get there early because 75 hot dogs from Murph's Hot Dog cart will be given away too!
