My plan to get my flu shot in October didn't pan out.  Again.

Today I found out the October vs. November issue doesn't matter as much as the time of day you get your immunization.

Who knew?!  Well, researchers I guess, but hang with me.

A study found your flu shot might be more effective if you get it in the morning.  The researchers tested study participant's blood for antibodies a month after they received their flu shot. People who got their shots in the morning had more antibodies, meaning they were less likely to become sick.  They think it might have something to do with white blood cells and how they circulate throughout your body.

Cool!

So pair your flu shot with pancakes and you'll be doing yourself a favor.

Stay healthy, Minnesota!
