We are proud to be a part of Festive Mixology – A Signature Cocktail Experience, tomorrow night (Septemb er 8th) in the Peace Plaza. The money they raise goes to Hiawatha Homes, and so, for the next few days, we'll be featuring guest bloggers from Hiawatha. Today, meet Kenny.

"I am a fan of rock music and love to go to Rockfest every summer if I can. I graduated from Century High School and I was on the Rochester Raiders Floor hockey team in high school. I now play baseball at the Miracle Field. I work at ABC and I enjoy all of my friends that I work with.

I was born with Cerebral Palsy, but that has not slowed me down much. I use an electric wheelchair to get around, but I still can go everywhere I want to go. I love getting together with my family for food & fun."

(Hiawatha Homes)

What is Mixology? It is custom cocktails made by Rochester's best bartenders. It's good food from Johnny Mango's! And it's a worthy cause, Hiawatha Homes, where they provide quality support services to people with disabilities at home and in their community.

You sip and mingle, nosh and chit chat. And judge. There'll be a judging panel, but guests pick the Most Congenial Mixologist, People’s Choice Cocktail, and Best Mocktail (I just learned Mocktail is NOT a cocktail that makes fun of you and/or wears shot necked turtleneck sweaters).
