Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has admitted to a misdemeanor traffic charge for causing a deadly collision with a motorcycle a year and a half ago.

21-year-old Jacob Sappington was driving a Jeep Cherokee north on Marion Road Southeast when he went over the center-line and collided with a southbound motorcycle. The man and woman on the motorcycle, 56-year-old Curtis, and 44-year-old Jennifer Buxton were killed in the collision on June 10th, 2016.

Sappington, who was critically injured in the crash, pleaded guilty this week to a center-line violation and was sentenced to six months on probation.
