I don't know if this is the biggest frozen food recall ever, but the size and scope of it is pretty mind-numbing!! Please check the list, there's a good chance there's something in your freezer you'll need to ditch.

CRF Frozen Foods of Pasco, Washington expanded their recall of frozen fruits and vegetables. This size of this recall blows my mind. Over 350 products sold under 42 separate brands, in all fifty states!

(FDA Website) Products include organic and non-organic broccoli, butternut squash, carrots, cauliflower, corn, edamame, green beans, Italian beans, kale, leeks, lima beans, onions, peas, pepper strips, potatoes, potato medley, root medley, spinach, sweet potatoes, various vegetable medleys, blends, and stir fry packages, blueberries, cherries, cranberries, peaches, raspberries, and strawberries.

Tho they're getting the most news coverage, stores where these products were sold are not limited to Wal-Mart, Cosco and Trader Joe's.

I'll bet we all know one company can make peas for a bunch of different stores and give 'em their own store-brand package. But when you look at the list, I think it really hits you  this company is responsible for a lot of food we eat. And it's not the only one like this.

Anyway, check y'freezer, please. Listeria is bad news. It can cause a sometimes fatal infection.
