I'll be the first to admit that I messed up... However, since no one called me out on my error, is it really a mistake?? Earlier this week I wrote a blog on where to celebrate National Juicy Lucy Day in Rochester and listed several eateries to enjoy one, including the first place I ever tried one, Newts! Except here's the thing: Apparently, they haven't been selling them for quite some time?

Oops, my bad.

I don't get out to eat as much as I used to, and I admittedly haven't been to Newts in several months. Plus whenever I was last there, (maybe this past spring) I don't even think I looked at the menu because I usually just get their Marvin Burger with crispy fried onions!

But here's the weird part: The very next day, a black and white message popped up on their Facebook page saying "Something's Coming Back 9/14/18".

Curious, I stalked their page all morning until I saw this:

Well I'll be damned. That's spectacular timing if I do say so myself!

Having worked there for over five years, I can't tell you how many Juicy Lucy orders I would get over lunch but it was a lot!

Some inside info on the Juicy Lucy per one source at the restaurant says that back in May they took it off the menu to "Redesign it with a different, smoother, more amazing cheese! It took us a few months to get it perfect, but it’s back and better then ever!"

Now that it's back I'll definitely have to stop by and order one soon. Of course with any Juicy Lucy, just be careful when you eat one because that cheese is liquid hot magma hot!

The best part of all this is now my blog from the other day is indeed factual all over again. Happy Friday, everyone!
