I’m Blown Away at Ticket Prices to See Michelle Obama in MN

I'm halfway through the award-winning autobiographical memoir of former United States First Lady Michelle Obama. I LOVE it! It's personal. It's real. It's fun. Regardless of political stance, Becoming should be on your bookshelf. From the Southside of Chicago to the White House. The book is an empowering read for all. Especially women!

As I said, I'm not even done with the book, but still would love to see Michelle Obama. We announced about a month ago that her book tour would be making a pitstop in Minnesota. At that point, ticket prices were not available. This morning I checked again, and I was absolutely blown away. I love you Michelle, but damn.

The only tickets left on Ticketmaster are floor seats, and the cheapest available are $1,195/ticket - eesh. That's a mortgage payment... I did some more digging and found some tickets on Stub Hub. Even at a resale rate, the prices are outrageous. For the nosebleeds, and I'm talking waaaay back in the nosebleeds of the Xcel Energy Center, the cheapest I could find is just shy of $300.
