I'm constantly looking for unique places to stay for a little weekend getaway with the hubby. This may be the coolest one I've discovered. Check it out.

Nestled in the woods a few miles from Two Harbors, you'll find this one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast. It's called the Northern Rail Traincar Inn. Why? Because you stay in authentic railway train boxcars. According to their website, "the rooms are connected by a charming enclosed hallway that is reminiscent of an old fashioned train station platform."

There are 17 rooms available, each with a different theme. Themes like lighthouses, safari or Victorian.

The Inn is open year round, and welcomes guests from around the world.

You can take advantage of the hiking trails, quiet seating areas in the great outdoors and the nearby popular destinations - Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse and Duluth.
