Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  One of those taken into custody during Wednesday’s protest at the Mall of America was Alexander Clark - the cousin of Jamar Clark, the man who was fatally shot by police in Minneapolis last month.

The group Black Lives Matter organized the protests at the shopping center and the Twin Cities airport as part of its ongoing demand for release of video of the shooting.

Clark was actually arrested because of an outstanding warrant issued by Olmsted County for a contempt of court charge for non-support. A spokesman says Clark was transferred to Rochester and turned over to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s office. He was released after posting $778 bail.
