St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - St. Paul police responded to a 911 call early Friday and found the Scooby-Doo van had crashed into a home.

The vehicle, a late model Chevy camper van had been custom painted to look like the “The Mystery Machine” featured in the popular Scooby-Doo cartoons, TV show and movie. No one will was hurt, but the van and the home were damaged.

Police later learned the colorful vehicle had been stolen and apparently taken on a joyride by two teenage males who were seen running from the scene of the crash. They were found hiding in a nearby garage, but were released after the officers verified their identities.

The incident remains under investigation.
