June’s Weather Was Nearly Normal

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - June was a little warmer and a little wetter than normal in the Rochester area.

The National Weather Service says the average temperature last month at the Rochester Airport was 68.7-degrees, which is just over one degree above normal. The warmest day of the month was the 10th when the temperature reached 93-degrees, while the coolest temperature last month was 48-degrees on June 8th.

The precipitation total for the month was about a half inch above average at just under 5 ¼ inches. It rained on 13 of the 30 days in June and the highest 24 hour rainfall total was 1.6 inches on June 8 and 9th.
