KatyCats, you can take a breather from shaking and crying over Katy Perry's well-executed "Bad Blood" subtweet last evening for just a moment — 'cause she's on the cover of a magazine. (VOGUE!)

The "By The Grace Of God" Prism crooner is giving Vogue Japan a bit of edge for their forthcoming September issue, rocking a bold cropped pixie cut, a nose ring and flaunting some of her many tattoos in a pretty pink, ornately decorated dress. No word on what she's dishing about in the interview inside — but we can only hope she's providing some insight into her new music.

The singer's wildly successful Prismatic World Tour is continuing on to South America in September, before finally wrapping up in Puerto Rico in October. And then? An album by 2016, according to her manager.

The pop princess has also been involved in some #drama as of late: Not only did she finally address Taylor Swift last night amid the 1989 singer's scuffle with Nicki Minaj on Twitter, but she's been embroiled in a battle to buy a convent from some rather unhappy nuns. But it ain't all bad! She just snagged an Emmy nomination for her thrilling Super Bowl halftime show (in no small part due to Left Shark, of course), and she just notched over 1 billion views on the video for "Roar,", making her the only artist in history to have two videos clocking in at over a billion views on YouTube.

Let the new era commence.
