Obstacle races have been growing in popularity over the past few years, but one thing seems to stay the same - it's an adult thing. I don't know about your kids, but every time we take the kiddo to the park, he immediately turns it into a challenge. "Time me! See how fast I can get through this course." He loves American Ninja Warrior and is going to be so pumped to hear about this.

Byron is hosting the first ever kids obstacle race next month. According to organizers, the kids can expect to "get wet and muddy." Meaning it will be similar to a muddy warrior run. According to the event page on Byron's website, the Kids Obstacle Challenge Course is a zigzagging obstacle course with water and 12 fun obstacles. It's designed for kids ages 4-10. Parents can stand on the sidelines OR participate with the kids.

The event is taking place on September 15th with several time slots to choose from. If you sign up before September 4th, your kiddo will get a free t-shirt. There will also be medals handed out at the event. Registration is $30 per kid. For more info and to register,  click here.
