At the 34th annual Mayor's Medal of Honor Ceremony, News-Talk 1340 KROC AM's very own Kim David was honored Wednesday for his long-time service to the Rochester community of reporting the local news.

The Mayor's Medal of Honor Ceremony is held each year to honor members of the Rochester community for their service and excellence to the community.

The team at News-Talk 1340 KROC AM and our sister stations can't imagine anyone more deserving than our Kim David. He tirelessly works to ensure you, our listeners, have the latest Rochester and Minnesota news.

Kim joined our family of stations in the late 1970s. While he started as a music DJ, he soon moved to the news, where he has reported on Rochester news for more than three decades. He starts his day at 3 a.m. to ensure that by the time Rochester wakes up he has the latest and most comprehensive news for them.

Please join us in congratulating Kim for his stellar service to the Rochester community!
