You wake up, and you look out the window at your car. Ugh... frosted over. And not in a delicious, butter-based vanilla frosting way, no! Cold, hard, ice. How do you defrost it fast?

A lot of people have automatic car starters, so they can warm up their car before ever leaving the house. That works, but gas ain't cheap!

You could also scrape the windshield. That's what I do. The Elbow Grease method. Gets it done, but covers you with frost and snow if it snowed. Also, you can get sweaty, and under a winter coat, a sweater, a t-shirt, and whatever kinda under-things y'sporting, sweating is not the way to start the day.

So... what?

Well, you could buy de-icer. But why buy it when you can make it? Seriously, the #LifeHack is so simple, there's no reason to spend any money on a fancy de-icer.

You take one part water, and two parts isopropyl alcohol. Put it in a spray bottle. Leave it in your car. Spray on icy windshield. Done.

Seriously, it's that simple. And since isopropyl alcohol freezes at something wild ,like -128°F, it won't freeze in your car. Here's a video that explains it all.
