March Cool Classroom Teacher is Heidi Hansen at PEM Elementary [Video]

I love hitting the road and visiting schools all over the NEW Y-105FM area, and when we hit up PEM Grade School, it was such a wonderful and emotional experience! Rhiannon and Mike Kisch nominated Mrs Hansen, and to read this is to understand how much a difference a teacher can make in a child's life...

We nominated Mrs. Heidi Hansen for the cool teacher award for many reasons. She is currently our son Evan's second grade teacher.

Mrs. Hansen began her career as a special education teacher in Elgin in 1987!! She currently teaches second grade at PEM Elementary.

Mrs. Hansen is absolutely amazing. She welcomes ever child AND student teachers with open, loving arms.

Mrs. Hansen shows compassion and love to her students like no other teacher I have ever seen.

Our son has LOVED being in second grade, he is excited, motivated, and happy, and we owe it to the amazing and wonderful Mrs. Hansen.

Mrs. Hansen: thank you so much for all you do for our children and our PEM community. You are so very deserving of this recognition!!!
