Mayowood Christmas Tours 2015!

The holidays are fast approaching!  Even though, it is not a winter wonderland outside yet, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas indoors at Mayowood!

Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells on a fully guided tour of the Mayowood Mansion, located at 3720 Mayowood Road SW, Rochester, MN.

New this year, all tours begin at The History Center where you will enjoy an introductory film and light refreshments before driving to Mayowood for a tour. Tours last about one hour to one and a half hours.

While touring the home, you will be amazed, and educated about the three generations of the Mayo family. According to www.rochestercvb.org, it is beautifully decorated for Christmas. Handicapped parking is available. An elevator may also be used to view the second floor of the mansion.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, Tours begin at The History Center at 10:00AM, 11:30AM, 1:00 and 2:30.
November 10th, 17th and 24th, December 1st and 8th.
November 11th, 18th, and 25th, December 2nd and 9th.
November 12th and 19th, (No Tours on Thanksgiving) December 3rd and 10th.    Fridays:  There is a 4:00 PM, a 5:30 PM and a 7:00 PM tour.
November 13th, 20th, and 27th, December 4th and 11th.
Saturdays: 10:00AM, 11:30AM, 1:00PM, 2:30PM, and 4:00PM.
There will also be tours beginning at the Mayowood Mansion, at 5:30PM and 7:00PM.  November 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th, December 5th and 12th.
Sundays:  10:00AM, 11:30AM, 1:00PM, and 2:30PM.
November 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, December 6th and 13th.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for youth (ages 6-14), and free for children ages 5 and under.
