Meet The DJs
Mornings with James Rabe
Born in Michigan, for 16 years James Rabe called Rochester, MN home. In fact, even when he didn’t live here he still did…whenever he’d be on his way to his annual kidney transplant checkup, he’d tell everyone, “I’m going home.” James started as a weekend announcer at KROC, then night guy (anyone remember the Lord of the Night?), and then mornings, first with Tracy McCray, and then, Cori Jensen. James then went to Fargo, to find his fortune… and to get laid off. Now, after five years waking up Idaho’s Magic Valley, James is coming home as the new morning show host on Y-105. In his spare time he cooks, reads, writes, and misses his lady friend back in Idaho.
Middays with Tracy McCray
Tracy McCray is a long time radio veteran who started in Rochester on KROC-FM in 1993. Her time on KROC-FM included co-hosting the Early Morning Show with James Rabe from 1997-2000. She also hosted The Tracy McCray Show on KROC-AM from 2000-2009. In addition to Y-105, she is also co-host and producer of Mayo Clinic Radio, which is heard on nearly 90 stations around the world.
This girl likes to work in radio!
She and her husband, Joel, round out their family with a couple of ‘mini-me’ clones.
Afternoon Drive with Dave Berg
Hey, it’s radio’s Dave Berg! How are you?
I’ve been in radio for about 20 years, mostly playing country music, but I have a love for many different kinds of music.
I’ve been married for 25 years. I have three kids.
My favorite show on television is NCIS.
I’m a huge Batman fan. Most Wednesdays you’ll probably catch me over at Book Review in the Hillcrest Shopping Center off the 19th Street Exit of Highway 52…
Nights with Delilah
Join Delilah every night for your love songs and dedications on Y105! (You can hear her sharing her love for others and her own thoughts on life while playing requests for some of her many very special listeners every night at 7 pm except Saturday nights at 11 pm after Backtrax USA.)
Sunday Mornings with Jerry Miller
Jerry Miller, aka “JM in the AM” is a native of Zumbrota. After high school, joined the Navy and spent 4 years having a ball. Started radio career working at the College of William and Mary extension in Norfolk, Virginia. An opening happened at WNOR in Norfolk, was hired part time, and worked weekends. Four years later, finished the Navy requirements and returned home and enrolled in Brown Institute of Broadcasting and Electronics in Minneapolis under the G.I. bill. Graduated there and ended up as the morning man at KWEB Rochester. Later, went to KNXR Rochester and worked weekends and did fill-in announcing there. Then, when Y105 went on the air in February of 1993, started working Sunday mornings from 8 am to noon and I’m still here doing 8 am to noon, and enjoying it very much. So, after countless TV spots and voice-overs for radio spots, I’m still here working weekends. One of these days I’ll qualify to work regular shifts.
Join me some Sunday morning between 8 am and noon on Y105…..and thanks.
