The Rochester School Board last night accepted an anonymous gift that will lead to the district's first artificial turf football field.  And it's a special turf - as it came from the Metrodome! It was used for just 3 seasons, and was acquired by Mayo Alumni and the Mayo Touchdown Club.  In a few weeks, the turf will be transported to Mayo High School in eight semi-trucks and will be ready for the fall football and soccer seasons.  The club will also pay the installation costs.
