I was 'feelin' good' after watching this!  Michael Buble is a bit of a wild good guy, but he took the time out of his concert to honor this moms request and took a 15 year old up on stage.

It's not new, but it's new to me, because I just saw this, and maybe you are like me, and have not yet seen or heard about Michael Buble and Sam, but boy did it bring tears to my eyes and reminded me of a great memory of myself and my own daughter that I had to share with you. This is not the first time I've seen a performer do this, and hopefully, not the last, but it's so awesome to see his excitement at Sams talent!

My personal memory: not of Michael Buble, but of Rick Springfield, and my daughter, at four years of age. She is not four anymore, but at four years old, he took her up on stage and had her sing, 'Don't Talk To Strangers' in front of several thousand people. I only have one rather terribly out of focus photo from that moment, but it's one of my favorite pictures ever because of how awesome that moment in history was for her, and me, mom, of course!

So, it's pretty blurry, but my daughter had the princess crown on her head and the white dress. It took forever to track down another Rick Springfield fan through the yahoo group the fans belonged to years later to find this picture. She was four, we went to a show in Waukesha, Wisconsin, near Milwaukee, it was 1999. During the concert, Rick asked a few people to come up on the stage and help him sing Don't Talk To Strangers. My daughter was one of them that he picked, and he had a security guard pick her up out of the crowd and place her on the stage. He asked other people to sing and they did, and then he got to my girl. She belted out the words..."Dont Talk To Strangers" so loud, so energetically, so perfectly on tune, and he stopped to talk about her cute princess crown. I stood in the crowd frozen, unable to even snap a photo, but another person in the crowd did.  Years later, when I mentioned how I wished I had a picture of that, a member of a fan group emailed this to me to ask if this is what I had been looking for. I love it. That night, after the concert, we ate at a nearby restaurant. People were coming up to her asking for her autograph saying they remembered seeing and hearing the cute little princess girl that night. She was on cloud 9. This would not be the only time that she got to sing on stage with him, nor would it be the only blurry photo of it that I somehow obtained, this one, I took, probably because that was my baby up there, singing in front of thousands of people.

This was several years later, no longer four, yet, again, asked to sing with him on stage. I have always found it awesome when a performer will take the time out of their performance to highlight someone else, especially younger future generations. This is why that video of Michael Buble & Sam from about three years ago, that I just stumbled upon brought a tear to my eye, and reminded me of what it was like to watch, being mom and all. Just in case if you were wondering, the Sam from the video above with Mr. Buble, he is working on his own singing career now, as he should be. What an incredible thing Michael Buble did for that 15 year old. Here he is singing 'Feeling Good' just as he did with Michael Buble.
