Undated (KROC-AM News) - The business conditions index for Minnesota has been on the decline for five straight months, but the indicator for future economic activity is still higher than it was a year ago.

The November Mid-America Business Conditions Survey put Minnesota’s overall economic index last month at 46.5. That was down almost two full points from October and it was the fourth consecutive month the index has been in the range that predicts weaker economic conditions in coming months.

The author of the respective report noted both the durable and non-durable goods producers in Minnesota experienced pullbacks in their businesses during November.

While the report is far from upbeat, the same report a year ago put Minnesota’s overall economic index at only 41.1.
