MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The mother of a toddler who survived an 11-story fall from a Minneapolis high rise a month ago says her son is healing well.

Musa Dayib suffered a broken spine and ribs as well as a concussion and a punctured lung on May 11 after he slipped through a balcony railing.

The Star Tribune reports doctors will remove the 16-month-old's last arm cast Thursday. The only other visible sign of his injuries is a pink scar on the back of his head.

His mother Fadumo Abdullahi says he's the same as he was before. But she says she's had dreams every night since of her son crying for help as she reaches for him as he tumbles through the air.
