St. Paul, MN (KROC AM News) - It was a scary moment on the football field this past Saturday. A Hill-Murray football player was placed in a medically induced coma after collapsing during a playoff game.

According to the Associated Press, senior Zach Zarembinski took himself off the field during the game and collapsed during his team's Section 3AAAA semifinal game against St. Paul Johnson.

According to the GoFundMe page, Zarembinksi was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery for a brain bleed and was placed in a coma.

Hill-Murray coach Peter Bercich told the Associated Press that Zarembinski came to the sideline and "things kind of went downhill from there."
