There have been two fatalities already on Minnesota roads to begin the long Memorial Day weekend.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol a single car wreck in Sherburne County near Big Lake took the life of an individual who's pickup left the road and rolled Friday afternoon around 3:45.

About that same time a 79 year old motorcyclist lost his life near Faribault when his Harley struck a car attempting to turn on to highway 99.  The driver of the car was not injured. The identities of the separate crash victims have not been released.
